Alison Bauer sworn in as a Library Trustee Published on: September 25, 2017

The Montclair Public Library Board of Trustees today announced the appointment of Alison Bauer as a member of the board by Mayor Robert Jackson. Bauer was sworn in by Municipal Clerk Linda Wanat at the Municipal Building earlier today.

Bauer, a graduate of the University of Maryland, is the past Chair of the Montclair Public Library Foundation.

The Montclair Public Library Board of Trustees regularly scheduled meeting tonight at 7 pm will be Bauer’s first as a Library Trustee.

The Montclair Public Library serves the citizens of Montclair at the Main Library at 50 South Fullerton Avenue and the Bellevue Avenue Branch at 185 Bellevue Avenue. Founded in 1893, the Library aims to change lives every day through words, ideas, and community connections. Last year, the Library had over 32,000 members and circulated more than 440,000 items.
