Current Events Discussion Group

Join the Current Events Discussion Group on Wednesday mornings from 11AM-1PM in the Isabel Rose Café to discuss issues at the forefront of world news.

Bridge Group

All ages and skill levels are welcome to play Bridge, every Tuesday afternoon from 12Noon-4PM in the Library's Conference Room.

Chess Group

Come and play chess in the Isabel Rose Care on Saturday afternoons from 2-4PM.

Knitting Group

Come and knit or crochet with friends at the Montclair Public Library, every Wednesday evening from 7-9PM in the Isabel Rose Café.

Write Group

The Write Group is a diverse group of writers with one common goal – to encourage each other to keep writing! The Write Group welcomes anyone with a serious interest in writing. All meetings and workshops are Free!

SHIP Counselors

The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides free help to New Jersey Medicare beneficiaries who have problems with, or questions about their health insurance. SHIP is a statewide program sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services with major funding from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

African American Book Discussion Group

The group was started by Ronald Murphy and Harold Bell in the early 1990’s. Selections are books focusing primarily on African American subjects or by African American authors, as well as recommended and popular titles.

Adult School Book Discussion Group

Sponsored by the Adult School of Montclair and held at the Montclair Public Library, the book discussion group allows avid readers to discuss themes, plots, and characters of selected books. Participate in the stimulating exchange of ideas, observations, and reactions to the current selections.
