The Montclair Public Library wants YOU to become a 2019 Summer At The Library Teen Volunteer!

Summer Reading is just around the corner! Montclair Public Library invites Montclair High School students (and residents of Montclair attending other schools) ages 14 and older to participate in the library’s summer volunteer program. Teens must attend one (1) of the three (3) orientation dates.* Interested teens will have the opportunity to sign up for volunteer positions, as well as learn about the library’s summer programming. Orientations will be held on the 3rd floor; register online. Volunteer positions are limited so register early!

*(Signed applications must be turned in by orientation date.)

As a volunteer you will be tasked with a number of duties such as:

  • Working 2 hour sessions at the Summer Reading Table
  • Providing assistance during Youth Services Programming
  • Preparations for arts and craft events

Volunteers must be 14 years or older.

Volunteers need to live or go to school in Montclair.

Volunteers need to attend ONE training/orientation sessions on the 3rd floor of the library. Registration opens on 5/28/19 at the following links:
6/6/19 at 6 p.m.
6/10/19 at 6 p.m.
6/22/19 at 2p.m.
