Well, look no further because Montclair Public Library is here to help!

We offer several opportunities for teens throughout the school year as well as the summer time. Take a look at the descriptions and see which type of volunteer work is most suitable for your busy schedule!

September – May
During the school year, the Youth Services Department is looking for individuals to take care of our collection. As a volunteer, you are assigned several areas of the collection to keep neat and organized. In addition, volunteers are offered various opportunities to help out during programming, arts & crafts, and decorating the Youth Services floor. Hours vary and are completely dependent on when you are available to volunteer.

Qualifications
• Teens ages 14 and up.
• Must live and/or go to school in Montclair.

June – August
Spend your summer helping the Youth Services Department host a successful Summer Reading Program. As a volunteer, you are asked to assist Summer Reading participants with registration, logging in books, and awarding prizes! In addition, you will be asked to aid with preparations, decorating, and having fun at programming events. Two-hour slot rotations are available, as well as additional hours for arts & crafts and programs.

Qualifications
• Teens ages 14 and up.
• Must live and/or go to school in Montclair.
