Lifelong Education

lifelongPeople come to MPL to learn, connect and build a better life.

MPL expanded its ability to provide high quality lifelong education in January 2015 with the integration of the Adult School of Montclair into the library as a lifelong education department. Adult School Department classes, programming and staff dedicated to children, teens, and seniors, are central library services.

The Adult School Department of MPL classes run year-round, 4 days and nights a week to accommodate busy schedules. Montclair residents will be charged an annual membership fee of $25 in 2016 to help defray program costs, and will continue to receive classes free of charge when taught in either the Main or Bellevue Avenue Libraries. Montclair residents also enjoy membership in the Montclair Library Friends
