Artists’ Reception: The Art Workshop Presents Different Strokes
The Art Workshop Presents: Different Strokes
The Montclair Public Library’s popular art series continues with “Different Strokes by The Art Workshop” on view in the Montclair Public Library Gallery during Library hours from November 1 – November 29, 2019. An art reception is scheduled in the gallery for the artists on Sunday, November 10, from 2-5 p.m.
As you walk through the Gallery enjoy a breathtaking exhibit by distinguished artists: Richard Toglia, Luis Gallinat, Marcy Sabo, and Janice Szczyglinsky. These works of art are made up of a variety of subjects and styles, from realism, impressionistic and abstraction, to symbolism and commentary, using a wide range of mediums and materials.
· Luis Gallinat – Traditional realism showing animals and people with an especially international flair
· Janice Sczcyglinski – Meticulous pointillist works that employ abstract elements referring to the real world
· Richard Toglia – Realistic images that slip into surrealism (without symbolism), often with geometric elements present
· Marcella Sabo – Impressionism meets Expressionism. The subject matter may vary from one canvas to another, but full tilt color reigns supreme.
Whatever your taste in art you’re sure to see something you’ll like in this eclectic exhibit.
“The Art Workshop” is an open studio that meets every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the hall of the Reformed Church at 10 Bellevue Ave, Bloomfield, NJ.
