Banned Books Week is an annual celebration of your right to read. During this week, avid readers around the country are working together to shed light on the harms of censorship. Join your community in their effort to illustrate the importance of free and open access to information by reading a banned book. Celebrate your FREEDOM to READ! You were told not to read the book…now watch the movie!

Monday, September 28: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (PG) 152 mins.
Tuesday, September 29: Matilda (PG) 98 mins.
Wednesday, September 30: Bridge to Terabithia (PG) 95 mins.
Thursday, October 1: Where the Wild Things Are (PG) 101 mins.
Friday, October 2: How to Eat Fried Worms (PG) 85 mins.
No registration required; space is limited. All are welcome, preference given to Montclair Library Cardholders. Please bring your card.
