Hear about recent community-based research on the history and culture of Orange, NJ led by the University of Orange. U of O is a people’s school in Orange, which offers free classes, teaches an inclusive approach to urbanism, and records and shares the history of Orange. The talk will focus on the recent collaboration between U of O and archaeologist and MSU Professor Chris Matthews to develop projects such as the Reverse Archaeology of I-280, Hidden Treasures of Our Orange, and an interactive map of the city.
