National Stroke Awareness Month: Stroke Prevention and Blood Pressure Screening
According to the National Stroke Association, a stroke happens every 40 seconds and is the fifth leading cause of death in the country. At this event, hear from Ronnie Castro, RN, MSN, Director of Cardiac Services at Clara Maass Medical Center how to prevent and identify the symptoms of a stroke. Blood pressure screenings will be provided. A light lunch will be served.
