Mmmm! What could possibly smell so yummy? Join Ms. Matilda as she reads Oge Mora’s “Thank You, Omu!,” a lovely story about Omu’s delicious stew and the importance of sharing and community in Nigerian culture. We will also enjoy some homemade stew and Omu activities that will delight the whole family. Please advise of food allergies.

Oge Mora is a Caldecott Honor Artist (2019) and winner of the Coretta Scott King/John Steptoe New Talent Award (2019). This program is part of the 50-50 Initiative in which libraries in all 50 states provide programs in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Coretta Scott King Book Award.
