Adult School Dept. Book Discussion Group
Organized by the Adult School Department, the book discussion group allows avid readers to discuss themes, plots and characters of selected books. Participate in the stimulating exchange of ideas, observations, and reactions to the current selections. Group meets every other week. Registration is required. The group was started by Ronald Murphy and Harold Bell in the early 1990s. Titles, selected by members and the group’s facilitator, focus primarily on African American subjects or by African American authors, as well as recommended and popular titles.
